About the Role

Inclusive Networking is looking for a job coach to join our team! This is a part-time position. We'd love to hear from you. If interested, please email lindsay@inclusivenetworking.com.

As a job coach, you will support an individual with a disability at their job. You will help them learn and perform their job tasks and feel comfortable in their work environment. You will also assist their employer in setting up accommodations and natural supports in the workplace. The ultimate goal of a job coach is to support the individual in becoming independent at their job!

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support 1 to 3 employees overall (one at a time).
• Get to know the employee (e.g. how they learn best, preferences, interests, strengths, conditions).
• Understand the employee’s worksite and job tasks.
• Provide support to the employee during their shift.
• Keep detailed descriptions and records of an employee’s shift.
• Collaborate with employee, their employers, and their parents/guardians.
• Facilitate or attend check-in and/or brainstorming meetings.

Benefits:
• Anticipated Wage: $20 - $26 depending on experience
• Mileage Reimbursement
• Paid Training
• Paid Time Off

Schedule:
• 10-15 hours a week
• Monday - Friday daytime hours
• Exact shifts will be determined based on your availability and employee/employer's needs.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Commit to fostering an inclusive workplace and use respectful language.

  • Align with our mission and belief that people with disabilities are valuable employees and community members.

  • Access to reliable transportation to visit employees worksites.

  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.

  • High School Diploma or GED.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has worked with with people with disabilities.

  • Has worked as a job coach.

  • Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and/or disability waivers (CDCS).
